Georgetown High School is a public high school located in Georgetown, Texas serving grades 9–12. As of 2008–2009, the school has an enrollment of 2146. Georgetown High School's mission, with the involvement of the entire school community, is to promote a positive environment for all students to develop academically and socially as responsible citizens in a changing society.

Georgetown High School is a school with outstanding traditions in academics and activities. GHS is a comprehensive high school that has been developed by numerous students, parents, teachers, community members and administrators who strive for excellence through partnerships. The school was a National Blue Ribbon Award winner in 1994-95.[2]

GHS has had many years of success academically, as well as in athletics and extracurricular activities. The Georgetown Eagles and Lady Eagles compete in the UIL Class 5A athletics and have produced many strong and often state ranked teams in baseball, tennis, and boy's and girl's basketball. Choir and Music programs, including the Georgetown Eagle Marching Band, have won many awards and state championships over the years. A notable alumni is current Green Bay Packers kicker Mason Crosby.

School colors are blue and white.

Now the ninth grade center has been converted into a new high school, East View and who's symbol is the Patriots.
